Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will enhance and maintain our core software products, ensuring they are optimized for prototype, design, testing, and debugging functionalities. This role involves working closely with various teams to achieve sensor visualization goals and serving as a technical liaison with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain core software products to optimize their utility in prototype, design, test, and debug software functionalities.
- Conduct testing on target hardware and within vehicle contexts.
- Integrate existing Software Development Kits (SDKs)
- Collaborate intimately with firmware, perception, data science, manufacturing, and customer teams to meet sensor visualization goals.
- Serve as a technical interface with clients, ensuring alignment on requirements and tracking progress.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expertise in C++ with 5+ years of industry experience with safety-critical systems.
- Proficiency in modern C++ software development, along with networking and automotive protocols.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and code optimization techniques.
- Proven capability in delivering production software in Linux and QNX systems.
- Strong experience in developing testable code and crafting automated tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ASPICE and ISO26262 (automotive standards).
- Knowledge of and experience working with AUTOSAR C++ and/or MISRA C++ coding guidelines.
- Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS) and debugging tools like Wireshark.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Experience in using CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Experience thriving in dynamic and evolving environments.
- Capability to operate effectively within cross-functional teams across different geographies.
- Involvement in Agile teams and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in automotive-compliant environments.
- Creative problem-solving skills with an emphasis on out-of-the-box thinking.
